Your roster, choices, timing, and engineering.
THE TRACK PRESENTS
THE PROBLEM.
YOU DECIDE HOW
TO SOLVE IT.
The Motor Genesis™ is the racing trading card game of Motor Mutants—a race-first game of movement, position, engineering choices, environmental pressure, Resonance, and Ignition.
THIS IS A RACE.
Your Motor Mutants are not standing on a battlefield waiting to attack. They are moving through a changing Track—reading openings, contesting position, managing consequences, and trying to solve the race before their rivals do.
POSITION CREATES PRESSURE.
BUILD YOUR
RACING ROSTER.
Every Motor Mutant is a fusion of creature instinct × machine architecture. That fusion produces different strengths, weaknesses, movement behaviors, and natural competitive tendencies.
Faction shapes racing philosophy. Archetype classifies how a Mutant naturally tends to respond to racing problems. Neither limits a Mutant to one job.
THE TRACK IS THE
THIRD COMPETITOR.
Tracks are active environmental systems. Terrain, hazards, objectives, zones, and changing conditions alter which solutions are valuable and force every roster to adapt.
The racers competing for the same openings and objectives.
The Track changes the problem everyone must solve.
HOW A RACE
UNFOLDS.
CHOOSE YOUR MUTANT.
Commit the racer you believe can solve this Track and fit the larger Championship plan.
READ THE TRACK.
Study the Zones, terrain, position, objectives, and changing conditions before you commit.
COMMIT YOUR STRATEGY.
Decide where to push, where to protect position, and what advantage you are trying to create.
USE YOUR CARDS.
Use the tools in your deck to adapt, create openings, manage consequences, and change what becomes possible next.
MANAGE THE MACHINE.
Pressure, Momentum, Resonance, and Ignition shape the choices available as the Race develops.
WIN THE RACE.
Solve the Track before your rivals—but remember that one Race is only part of the Championship.
Movement is the foundation of advantage. Passing, holding position, reacting to the Track, and using Cards matter because each decision changes the next decision.
The Race situation changes constantly. The question remains: what advantage are you creating now—and what are you preserving for what comes next?
WIN THE RACE.
MANAGE THE CHAMPIONSHIP.
WHAT SOLVES THIS TRACK NOW?
Which Mutant fits the conditions? Where is the opening? When should you commit? Which Cards are worth using in this Race?
WHAT DOES YOUR GARAGE NEED LATER?
The Mutant you commit now is part of a finite Championship roster. Winning early cannot come at the expense of having the right answers for later Tracks and Rounds.
A complete Championship can call upon all 12 Mutants in your Garage. The strongest roster is not simply the one with the best individual racer—it is the one built to answer different Tracks across the full competition.
WHAT YOU'RE
MANAGING.
At the table, the Race becomes visible. Your Mutant, the Track, racer position, Race Console, and Cards all describe the problem you are trying to solve.
Your racer brings a particular fusion, Faction philosophy, and natural competitive tendencies.
Zones and changing conditions determine which capabilities and decisions become valuable.
Your place on the Track changes passing, pressure, timing, and what becomes possible next.
Pressure, Momentum, Ignition readiness, and Race-state reminders keep the machine's condition visible.
Your hand gives you tactical and engineering options—but using a resource now can affect later decisions.
RESONANCE.
THEN IGNITION.
ALIGNMENT BUILT THROUGH THE RACE.
Racer and Mutant become increasingly synchronized through movement, decisions, and successful interaction with the Track.
PEAK EXPRESSION—EARNED, NOT GIVEN.
Ignition is a temporary expression of peak Helion synchronization. It is not the purpose of the race; it is an opportunity created through it.
THREE FACTIONS.
THREE ANSWERS.
CREATE PRESSURE.
Burst momentum and decisive commitment turn openings into immediate advantage.
CREATE OPPORTUNITY.
Position, flow, precision, passing, and timing create the next opening before rivals can close it.
CREATE STABILITY.
Grip, control, resilience, and structural advantage make difficult conditions solvable.
ENGINEERING
MATTERS.
The Race is not solved by speed alone. Cards create tactical and engineering choices. Understanding how a Mutant, its current state, and the Track work together creates better decisions.
BUILD. ADAPT.
START AT
THE BEGINNING.
The Founder’s Edition is the first physical introduction to Motor Mutants and the first playable release of The Motor Genesis™ trading card game.
